“Piękne, spokojne miejsce, relaksacyjne z dobrą energią”
The host was very hospitable. The breakfasts on the rooftop were beautifully presented. We arrived after 23 h, and a friend of the host waited for us; later he taught us how to brew tea, the best mint tea we’ve ever had in Morocco. He organized a sunrise hike to the mountain where he lit a campfire, boiled tea, and showed us chi kung principles. He arranged a tajine cooking lesson. The place has soul.
“Its my go-to property in this area”
Yohan is genuinely a great person—welcoming, positive, and full of good energy. He’s also very enthusiastic about spiritual healing and body energy, which adds a unique and peaceful touch to the overall experience. I really liked the property. I’m quite a cleaning freak, so I tend to notice even the smallest details, and I found the place genuinely clean and well maintained. I felt comfortable there from the start. The only thing worth mentioning is that the property is located a little uphill, so the walk back can take a bit of effort, especially if you’re carrying luggage. Other than that, I had a very pleasant stay and really enjoyed both the place and Yohan’s hospitality. The kitchen could use a few more utensils and basic cooking tools, and having a few extra cleaning supplies available would be helpful, especially for longer stays.
Avec un peu de retard, j ai trouvé Yohan au top. accueillant, souriant, zen. il se plie en 4 pour vous. Rien. il faut aimer le dépaysement et savourer la simplicité et le contact local
A week at Yohan’s riad in the small village of Tamright, perched high overlooking the ocean, and honestly… I left a different person. Between Chi Kung sessions with Tibetan bowls and incense, the nearby ocean air that recharges better than any meditation app, and the king‑size breakfasts around his table (which he made himself, yes, talent!), you never have a second of boredom. The slow‑cooked tajines over the central fire are the kind of thing that reconciles you with life. Then there are the dune excursions on camelback organized by Yohan under the full moon. Enough to say that postcard‑wise we’re served. His Belgian friend Mehdi is also a sweetheart, always ready to share the best local tips. He’s a goldmine of regional info and hilarious: with him, you can’t be bored for a minute! He also has the best contacts for arranging excursions and his own bike‑rental company, Mehdi Banana Beach Biker, if you want to explore at your own pace. In short, two golden people, a week that did me great good, and sincere thanks to both. Thank you Yohan and Mehdi, take care of yourselves!
The booking experience was very different from the others because you could really feel Yohan’s energy in the house. It’s a really nice place, always with a good smell of herbs. He really helped whenever he could and showed us some good places around. There was a beautiful terrace with a lot of sofas and it was a really good place if you want a morning or evening stretch (Yohan also knows Chi Kung and he is always willing to share his knowledge if you’re interested). Breakfast was the best I had in Morocco (not typical, but very nourishing and balanced). We were very happy with our stay and I would definitely come again. Thank you Yohan. It was a little bit hard to find the place—trust Google location, not Booking.
