Clifton Park Hotel - Adults Only

The public areas are very smart and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Dinner was good. Our room was spacious and well‑equipped. Walking distance to the beach or shops is easy. The decor in the room needed updating. The mattress felt a bit lumpy, although surprisingly it didn't spoil my sleep. Breakfast was average, the bacon was tough.

“Overall, very nice but a few things could be improved”

Staff were welcoming and very helpful when we had a couple of problems with the TV and parking. The room was well decorated and comfortable and the super‑king‑size bed was a bonus. The pool facilities were great and not overcrowded, but the water in the pool could do with going up a few degrees! The breakfast was ok but I think sausages need changing and bacon needs less cooking. The parking facilities at the hotel are very limited and we found it difficult to find a space, but we were told that there might be a space around the back of the hotel, which there was, but the front area was not arranged well. We needed a space in easy reach of our room as we have a disabled badge and the staff were very helpful with this. The noise outside our room was quite loud at times with people going to their rooms late at night, so perhaps look at more soundproofing of doors.

“We would definitely stay again”

The hotel was really well run by the staff and the meals were very good. Not your fault, but the next room had the TV blasting for both nights of the stay.

Great location. Staff fantastic. Good value for money. Poor water pressure. Discoloured towel. Strange stain on hallway carpet
