The place is nice, but there are many things that could be improved. The SPA is well organized, clean, and welcoming. I had booked this spot for the pool, which was supposed to stay open until 30 September; I arrived on 29 September and it was already closed. I was disappointed, especially because the temperature was 27 °C.

The property offers spacious and comfortable rooms. There is a pool surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was excellent; we didn’t try the restaurant, but it should be good as well.

The location and surroundings are good. There is no toilet paper in the bathroom and you have to request it every day. Apart from that, the facilities are in a ruined state. The bathroom door handles stayed in your hand, and even though we complained that the toilet paper holder was broken, it wasn’t fixed for four days. The shower water would cut off and you’d be left with a soap‑only shower.

The Masseria’s setup has everything to succeed: the location is pleasant, the rooms are good, the breakfast is varied, and the pool is nice. But what does the Masseria Paretano miss? Small details. The breakfast organization is weak; it’s a pity because the ingredients are good, yet cups or cutlery are often missing, we have to ask for bread to be refilled, and the staff are hardworking but lack method and organization. On the room side, it’s huge but has little furniture, making it a bit uncomfortable. The space is enough to create a lounge area with a sofa and a TV, which would be more pleasant. I can’t help but note a tiny detail: a hotel that prides itself should have immaculate presentation. I opened the wardrobe and found a set of five or six hangers, each from a different family, and even some wire ones… Is the cost of hangers that high?

It’s a beautiful place to stay. It’s great that there are also some animals roaming around and there’s a nice winery with a beautiful garden nearby. The driveway is on a busy road, so you hear nothing, which makes you prefer to go by car rather than on foot. Additionally, the bedroom is a bit noisy; if neighbours aren’t quiet you can hear everything. Adding some sound‑proofing would help a lot.
