“Great location and helpful staff”

The hotel sits in a nice spot near the beach with a great view from the room, clean towels, and fresh water every morning, and the staff were very helpful and nice, but it would be great to have a beach shower near the children’s playground so you could shower while the swimming pool is closed.

The hotel sits right on the shoreline yet a short distance from the noisy Dadunhai beach centre, the rooms are clean with daily housekeeping, and the breakfast buffet offers a good variety. Also, just a five‑minute walk away you’ll find the Panda restaurant, which we tried in four Chinese cities and found to serve the best food. The downside is that the pool closes for a long break during the day (about 12 pm to 4 pm), the beach is great but you’re not allowed into the water, and the shop under the restaurant that serves breakfast has a saleswoman who constantly tries to overcharge customers.

Everything was top‑level. Don’t believe those who say sand fleas bite—actually it’s the midges, they’re everywhere and bite rarely. Using repellents solves the problem.

The location is perfect and the staff are amazing, but there aren’t enough sun loungers near the pool.

The location is convenient, but the reception staff seem half‑asleep. Breakfast meat options are limited to bacon and plastic‑like pork sausages; in ten days we only saw chicken sausages once and fish balls twice, and the fruit selection is very sparse. Water drips down the shower wall from the floor above when guests are using it. Housekeepers ignore the “do not disturb” sign, ring the bell during cleaning, and tend to show up exactly when we return from the sea and want to shower or lie down.
