We booked half‑board and were very satisfied with the food; the selection was large and always tasty. The hotel offers direct access to the thermal spa and is located on a very quiet side street, while the beautiful city center is only a few minutes’ walk away. The only thing we didn’t like was that the potatoes were always hard.

The rooms were well equipped and the staff were very friendly. We used the thermal spa every day, which was beautiful. We didn’t appreciate that the hotel had no parking and we could only use the public parking at the spa, which was far for people with mobility issues. Additionally, our room had no refrigerator, which we needed for storing medication. At dinner, the buffet was set up incorrectly, causing long lines no matter whether we used the first or second service.

“Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub”

The room was spacious, clean, the beds comfy, and fresh flowers on the restaurant table were especially lovely; the Frederikentherme was easy to reach, and they politely accommodated our table‑decor wishes for the birthday, but we only received one room key.

“Im großen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt gut und ich kann mir vorstellen wieder zu kommen.”

Breakfast was good 👍, staff friendly and helpful, but dinner didn't meet my expectations: not all guests eat hot at night, the potatoes were hard, the vegetables were chunky and still a bit firm, and the fish had too many bones and was sometimes quite cold.
