“You almost get what you pay for”
The price was good, but the first room assigned was not even clean; we were given a different room and it was fine. We came back late from an event and the key card didn’t work. I tried to go to the office to fix it, but no one answered the bell; I tried again and called, and for 15 minutes we tried to get help. We returned to the room and noticed the windows were unlocked, so we removed the screen and climbed into the window to get in. The TV had no channels and wasn’t hooked up at all. In the bathroom there was no toilet paper. The bedding smelled clean but was stained. I wasn’t expecting 5‑star accommodations for $60, but at least I expected basic amenities and access to the room. When I checked out I tried to discuss the experience, but a child was in the bathroom, then the housekeeper came out and took my info so someone could contact me, but I was never contacted.
