“Un hotel para descansar en donde no existe el descanso, todo allí está para molestar al huésped.”
They let us leave a suitcase until we returned from the cruise. However, the room we got was extremely basic; they said we had chosen the standard, so that was all they had: two very small, separate beds, a view of a courtyard with people living their lives, farm animals almost inside the room, dogs barking all night, a rooster crowing at 4 am from the window, and the windows were just mosquito netting, so we practically slept with the rooster inside. What shocked us most was their breakfast schedule: in Lower Bay hotels, the only guests are those who stay one night to catch the Komodo boat the next morning, so they pick you up at 7 or 7:30 and breakfast runs from 8 to 10. An absolute nonsense.

The property is near the airport with free transport to and from the airport, a nice pool, and friendly staff. The air conditioning didn’t work properly at first, but they eventually fixed it toward the end of our stay, giving us an 8.0/10.
The airport shuttle was a plus, but the room had no windows in the bathroom and the window let in a lot of noise; the location can be very noisy between roads and next‑door companies. The bed was hard and they only gave a sheet to lie on while there was only AC, giving it a 2.0/10.
“Rilassante e interessante”
The owner was very helpful, giving us advice and stories about the area; the pool was huge and having the restaurant attached was convenient. The place was spotless, quiet, and in a handy spot (we had a scooter). The only two bits of advice were that the water for guests was a bit warm and a mosquito net on the bed would be useful.
The staff were very welcoming, though the place was a bit far from Labuan, which was offset by the friendly reception and helpful service, earning a 9.0/10.
