I got great value for the money, the spot is unbeatable, and the air‑con, fridge, kettle, and mosquito net all work well. The bed was comfy, staff were attentive, and the restaurant was solid. The décor feels a bit worn, but considering the price it's fine; if you want something as polished as the Serena, expect Serena rates. I missed brewed coffee for breakfast—Ugandan coffee is superb, so it should be offered. On my second day I walked around to Endiro Coffee and got exactly what I wanted, which shows just how awesome Fang Fang’s location is!

The hotel staff were fantastic—helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good, and the location worked well.

The room was very spacious with a good bed, but the mosquito net wouldn’t close because the rails were blocked.

The receptionist was friendly, the water was warm, the pressure was good, the bed was large, and there was a mosquito net. The food was very bad, the service was very unfriendly, and breakfast was monotonous.
