The room was comfortable and the lounge space was a nice bonus. The host was lovely and breakfast was beautiful. Some of the B&B looked tired and there were cracks in the wall of the room, but that didn’t spoil the lovely stay.

The location was good for a visit to York, the breakfast was fine, and the landlady was very friendly. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, but we surprised the landlady by arriving early. Don’t expect too much, but it was a decent stop‑off for our trip up North.
