The location was close to Santa Maria Novella station and within walking distance of Santa Maria del Fiore. The place was clean, and the owner was very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was included, which I didn’t notice when booking, so it was a pleasant surprise. I especially liked the mini‑fridge in the room. We enjoyed our stay in Florence very much. The shower was a little inconvenient to use.

The location was very central, close to the train station! Check‑in was smooth and you can manage on your own. The only thing we missed was a proper breakfast—having breakfast before heading out to explore Florence would have saved us time.

The room was a good size. There were a lot of Reed diffusers in the room (not sure if that was masking a smell). The whole apartment and shared area were great. They provide breakfast snacks with a coffee machine, and you can buy fizzy drinks and juices if needed. Air conditioning was welcome! The host was very polite and spoke good English. It’s a budget place, so some fixtures are loose. The toilet needed to be turned the other way because it was a bit of a squeeze for long legs. The glass shower door/curtain combo flooded the bathroom a bit. Taxis in Florence are hit‑and‑miss; using the app, they often won’t agree to pick you up in this part of the city because it seems on the edge.
