The location is great, just outside the busiest part of town. The service is excellent—your car is parked and driven for you. The ryokan is spacious, and upon arrival you’re served tea by your host. Dinner and breakfast are included and served traditionally by the host. The experience is made wonderful. In the room you have an onsen pass ready to visit the 7 onsens. You can also use the yukata and wooden slippers.

The location is good, staff and owner were very friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The in‑house onsen wasn’t impressive, the food didn’t suit my taste, and the bed quality was a bit rough. Overall it was okay, but compared to other onsens I’ve stayed at in Japan, it didn’t stand out or leave a strong impression.

The food quality, both breakfast and dinner (we had booked half board), the experienced hospitality, the service, the room—naturally in Japanese style—and the fact that you receive a pass to access the various baths were all positive, with nothing to complain about.
