The location is fantastic, and the hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful, and it was a treat to have the option to eat inside or outside. Having tea and coffee on tap was also a welcome touch.

Rachel and Mark are outstanding hosts. The townhouse is beautiful and in an ideal spot. The breakfast selection was unbelievable—everything was fresh and the coffee was great. We would highly recommend staying here.

The townhouse has been beautifully renovated and provides all the comforts needed for our short break in Carcassonne. Its location is perfect for exploring the medieval walled city and the surrounding areas.

I walked about 10 minutes from the castle on the opposite side of the Aude, which was spot on, and the views of the castle were absolutely stunning. The French townhouse itself was gorgeous, with a great decor and a room that felt wonderfully spacious, including the bathroom and kitchen diner. Rachael, Mark, and staff member Lars were all very friendly and helpful. There were no complaints at all – everything was fantastic.

The décor and furnishings are stunning, and the location is very convenient for both the medieval city and the bastide. The breakfasts were exceptional.
