The building’s front door was so hard to open that I lost my 2000‑euro watch; cleaning staff who arrived at 5 am took my detached watch, and the door’s clatter masked its fall. The incident happened at midnight, and those cleaners were the first to go around the entrance, likely found the watch, and never returned it to the Resort B&B.
