The spot was interesting and quiet, far from civilization; breakfast had only one package of ham, 4 eggs, cheese, toast, milk, and juice for 4 nights, so we had to supplement, coffee was weak, tea could be chosen, but on the other hand, Mrs. Glorie gave us wine, pasta, tomato sauce, and local fruit.

The location was magnificent in a very quiet alley at the base of the ancient church, the terrace overlooking the deep and wild valley was hardly usable because of the heat that week, the people of the village were friendly, starting with host Gloria and her son Gabriel, and given the heat, the proximity to higher places and cooler spots was a plus.

The accommodation was fantastic and the location up on Tuscany’s heights, close to everything in Tuscany; the owner Gloria was outstanding, highly recommended, and I’ll come back.

It was a magical place to recharge; the building is vertical so there are a few stairs, nothing impossible, actually very pleasant.

The place is tucked into a charming Tuscan mountain village, and the road to get there is exactly what it is, but once you reach Lanciole you’re immediately swept up by the atmosphere and surrounding scenery. The Priorato is well kept, clean, and feels like a true nest or refuge for those who cherish peace. A big shout‑out to Gloria, our host, who was very professional and kind. There’s nothing else to mention.
