I’ve been coming for many years and always enjoy it. It’s also nice to see the Kastanienhof evolving: rooms have been renovated in recent years, the breakfast buffet keeps improving, and yet the prices remain very reasonable! A solid 10 from me!

Kastanienhof benefits from a quiet location, and the single room came well‑equipped, even featuring a 1.20 m wide bed. The breakfast buffet offered sausage, cheese and salmon, with both scrambled and boiled eggs on the menu.

Good location, quiet rooms. The shower valve was outdated and difficult to adjust (but that did not affect all rooms – I have stayed in several different rooms).

The staff were friendly, the place was extremely clean, breakfast was good and parking options were convenient. No complaints.
