The accommodation was great, the breakfast was fantastic, and parking was hassle‑free, but the ground‑floor room had no bathroom and you had to walk through the hallway to get to one.

I’m writing to formally express my profound disappointment and frustration about my recent stay. Aside from the breakfast sausages, there was nothing satisfactory. We were given a room that wasn’t a self‑contained unit but an annex connected to another room by a thin adjoining door. On the night we arrived, shortly after 9:00 PM, my companions and I were talking normally about our journey. I tried to open the adjoining door, perplexed by the minimal space for three beds. I was accused of being disruptive, when I was just talking in my room. I was promised a proper room the next day, but that never happened. The overall cleanliness and maintenance were unacceptable: the bathroom was in a deplorable state, with stray hair in the sink and shower, a toilet seat of extremely poor quality that was visibly cracked, a severely clogged shower drain that forced us to wait for water to drain, and the water ran black at first. Cobwebs were on the walls. The TV was barely larger than a tablet, and we could barely use it for fear of being accused of making noise. The main room itself was far from clean—both the carpet and the skylight window were filthy. Of the three lamps, two didn’t work at all, and the third only worked when the switch was at a very precise angle. The hotel is near many commercial areas and shopping centres, making it excessively noisy even with the windows closed. There are no proper waste disposal facilities, so guests must improvise with market bags. During the entire weekend, the room was never cleaned, nor were towels or amenities replaced. The staff showed no problem‑solving initiative; when we requested a room change, we were told it was impossible, just as they claimed fixing the broken toilet lid couldn’t be done. I strongly advise taking action when a hotel fails to meet even the minimum standards. I’ve always trusted your platform and book 99 % of my stays through it. Although Booking isn’t directly responsible for the hotel’s operations, properties of this calibre don’t align with your usual standards. My intention is to warn other travelers: if you must consider staying at this hotel, don’t accept Room 212—it simply isn’t an actual room. I expect a proper explanation; ultimately, my frustration and sense of helplessness rest on the platform. Paying a premium price for exemplary service is understandable, but when a hotel is overpriced, poorly managed, and completely lacking in care, it becomes unacceptable.
