Our family of five stayed at the masseria in September, spending five amazing days with Francesco and his mother; the 700‑year‑old property keeps its magical charm thanks to their attentive care, Francesco’s maintenance of the grounds and horses, and the daily cakes baked by his mother in the breakfast room overlooking the fields and pool—highly recommended.

The homemade breakfast was exceptional, our host Francesco was unusually kind and gave us excellent tips for exploring the area, helped us sort out many parking tickets, the summer pool was beautiful, the masseria was lovely and worth the trip. Nothing else, maybe provide towels for the pool but that’s it.

The host was super friendly, the accommodation was dream‑beautiful, well‑maintained, perfect for a quiet, relaxed countryside holiday about 15‑20 minutes by car from the nearest civilisation, it’s a shame our Italian wasn’t enough for a chat about horse breeding with the nice grandpa. What you should know: there is no kitchen equipment or coffee maker, kettle, dishes, etc. in the room/apartment; the dining room is only open for breakfast. For a glass of wine on the beautiful terrace at night you’ll have to improvise.

We were greeted with genuine warmth by Francesco and his parents, and the peaceful, natural setting with that stunning pool made us love our time there; Francesco is so charming we barely wanted to leave, always bending over backwards to make our stay pleasant, the location is ideal for exploring the Puglia region, and the room, common areas and pool were all spotless, so we highly recommend it.
