“Jó helyen lévő, egyszerűen, érdekesen berendezett lakás, szigorú házirenddel, magas árakkal.”
The accommodation was in a great spot, close to the center, shops, and sights. The rooms were simply furnished but practical, and cleanliness was everywhere. The apartment’s “design” was interesting, and the host provided plenty of information; the internet was always available, and even for an extra fee he would have brought us to Kisinyov even late at night, where we almost got stuck. The only downside was how hot it was, and we couldn’t turn on the air‑conditioning (maybe it wasn’t working?). Unfortunately the stove didn’t work, so we couldn’t even boil a coffee ourselves. At night there was no street lighting, and when we arrived we only found the apartment in the dark with the help of a local young man (our internet wasn’t working)—a small board on the big green iron gate simply marked the apartment. The house rules were very strict! The biggest disappointment was the €10 per person late‑arrival fee, which for us (five of us) added up to €50 (by comparison, the nightly rate was €75). The late arrival was due to our flight delay, not because we wasted time. Since we travel on a tight budget, that extra amount felt too high, and we didn’t find it elegant. I would never try to get lucky with other misfortunes. We didn’t participate in the offered programs, which we found disproportionately expensive. Overall, we felt the price was aimed at wealthy tourists’ wallets (the accommodation fee itself was correct).
