The lodge had friendly staff and a quiet location with a beautiful view of a lake where animals come to drink. The public road to the lodge was in terrible condition, the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was very limited, and there was a lot of glass waste (empty bottles) around the lodge. We were the only guests in a fairly large lodge, which felt odd knowing many accommodations are full. There were various activities on site, but they were not promoted well. We did quadbiking, but it was too challenging for beginners, especially for children.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with our dietary needs; the game drive was nice and quadbiking was extremely fun, with large open spaces and plenty of activities. However, the pool should be cleaned thoroughly at least a day before guests arrive, and general maintenance on units, aircon, etc. is required.
