“Quaint BUT”

The place had a charming rustic feel and the breakfast was clean and fairly priced. However, communication about the property and check‑in was awful – there was no formal check‑in, and a lady who wasn’t the person we’d been talking to met us at the property. She didn’t realize breakfast was included. We were the only guests there, with no reception or host on site. When I returned a key card stopped working and nobody was around to help (luckily it fixed itself). The area around Casablanca was safe but a bit remote.

“Would not recommend staying here.”

Secured parking and comfy bed. 1. Mouldy bread for breakfast. No fresh milk, or bread. 2. Charged 19% tax on top of reservation when elsewhere in Chile we managed to avoid this by paying in USD. 3. Very noisy as room next to kitchen area. 4. Loud guests waking us up very early. 5. Room not sufficiently clean - hair clips and disco necklaces left in the room. 6. No bottle opener in the room even though it’s located in a wine region. 7. Room was tiny, and TV was placed extremely high on the wall so unable to watch. 8. In my view the rooms are completely overpriced

“Très bon séjour !”

The house is absolutely gorgeous and looks like it’s just been renovated. Everyone who works there is really welcoming and makes you feel at home.
