The dorm beds were comfortable, but as soon as you step in a horrible damp smell hits you; no staff are available, the rooftop is dirty with broken, uncomfortable chairs, an enormous ant infestation, the dorm shower leaks everywhere, balconies are uncleaned, plants are dead, and the whole property feels neglected. It is definitely not worth the higher price when you can find better hostels for less.

It’s close to downtown, the price is good with the discount, and the building looks compact and new, but you had to play hide and seek to locate the front desk staff.

I had the most amazing stay at Sok Hotel, tucked behind a coffee shop and feeling very safe. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging, and the location is very central in Siem Reap. The room was modern, with nice décor and extremely clean. The shower was warm with good pressure. It’s the best accommodation we’ve stayed in SEA.
