There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the accommodation sits right next to Lions Rock. The host arranged a private driver for the trip and organized a safari. The safari with Tharanga in Dambulla National Park was especially memorable, where we saw over 80 elephants, monkeys, and even a crocodile. Unfortunately, the air‑conditioner was very loud, keeping us awake at night, and when it was off, it was too hot, but when it was on, it was too noisy.

“Would recommend!”

The accommodation was lovely in every way, with a beautiful view. The room was spacious, clean, and had a good bathroom; a fridge was a nice touch. It was a bit off the beaten track, but only a 10‑minute walk to the main area with many restaurants. The breakfast was generous and tasty, and the host was friendly and very helpful.

The cottage was super cosy and clean. The family who runs it were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The area is perfect for reaching restaurants and main sightseeing spots. We definitely would come back and highly recommend this accommodation!
