The spot was spot‑on for exploring downtown Reykjavík, right across from the Settlement Museum, which we really liked.

They sent the door and room codes a few days before arrival, the rooms were cleaner than I expected, and parking at the corner was free after 9 pm. The only issue was the stairs, which made lugging luggage a hassle.
