This is a nice hotel with a first‑floor restaurant. The spot is pretty good, just 150 m from the 109 bus stop (to Varna centre) and the 409 bus (to the airport). The rooms offer a view, though the sea view is blocked by newer hotels on the beach; the view over Chaika district is still pleasant. Each room comes with a TV, wardrobe, table, and a large bed, plus decent free Wi‑Fi. The bathroom is quite spacious. Kabakum beach is 250 m away, but north Chaika beach is 650 m and has fewer crowds and less commercialisation. Supermarkets are scarce in Chaika; the biggest one is 100 m from the hotel. Lidl is 5 km in front of Varna Ecopark. Golden Sands and Aladzha monastery are both 3.5 km away, offering a nice forested mountain hike. The downside is the shower water runs poorly; you’ll need to sweep it into a sinkhole to avoid a wet floor. As is common in Bulgaria, few people speak good English, so it helps to know a few Bulgarian phrases or use Google Translate. If you want an excursion, there are no agents in Chaika—you’ll have to head to Golden Sands and find an agent on the promenade.

I stayed at this hotel and it was fantastic, especially because it sits just a short walk from Kabacum Beach. The building itself is gorgeous, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming all the time. The restaurant food was tasty, but the courtyard really stole the show – a peaceful oasis full of shade, well‑kept greenery, and beautiful old chestnut trees. I would definitely recommend it!

The staff were very nice and kind, and the garden outside is lovely. It’s very close to the beach and the restaurant is good. The furniture in the rooms is a bit older, but they’re still pretty clean.
