“NO NO E NO”

The only thing I liked was the way the property was advertised on its page. Everything else was worse than the set of a terrible horror film. Through a dirty and fogged-up window, completely covered in cobwebs and other insects, I could see an old, foul-smelling wooden barn. As for the staff, Mr Ivac literally told me: “If you had arrived a few minutes later, you would have slept on the street!” This is what someone tells a guest who has paid £54 for a night. I had sent him a message asking what the easiest way was to reach the property on foot, because according to the map it appeared to be very close to the airport passenger exit. When I asked him whether he had read my message, he said he had not. He works with tourists who depend on flight schedules, yet apparently does not know when the planes arrive. He repeated three times that check-out was at 11:00 a.m., as if anyone, even in their worst nightmares, would ever want to stay in that place any longer. At the entrance, as shown in the photographs, there was a huge number of insects. There were also insects in the room, but it was so dark that I could not photograph them. The bed linen was torn, the towels were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and there were still hairs from a blonde woman on the floor that clearly had not been vacuumed. I am very sorry that I had this experience. I would have paid three times as much just to never have to deal with this kind of place again. Although the property appears close to the airport passenger exit on the map, it is actually about a 30-minute very fast walk at night along a busy road. The room is so small that there is barely enough space for the bed and wardrobe. There is no normal space to walk around; you literally have to step over things. A horrifying experience. Per quanto riguarda il personale, il signor Ivac mi ha letteralmente detto: «Se fosse arrivata qualche minuto più tardi, avrebbe dormito per strada!». Gli avevo scritto chiedendo quale fosse il modo più semplice per raggiungere a piedi la struttura, perché dalla mappa sembrava molto vicina all’uscita dell’aeroporto. Alla mia domanda se avesse letto il mio messaggio, mi ha risposto di no. Lavora con turisti che dipendono dagli orari dei voli, ma evidentemente non sa nemmeno quando arrivano gli aerei. Mi ha ripetuto tre volte che il check-out era alle 11:00, come se qualcuno, anche nei suoi peggiori incubi, potesse desiderare di rimanere più a lungo in quella struttura. All’ingresso, come si vede nelle fotografie, c’era un’enorme quantità di insetti. Ce n’erano anche nella stanza, ma era così buia che non sono riuscita a fotografarli. Le lenzuola erano strappate, gli asciugamani sporchi, il bagno sporco e sul pavimento c’erano ancora capelli di una persona bionda che evidentemente non erano stati aspirati. Mi dispiace moltissimo di aver avuto questa esperienza. Avrei pagato anche tre volte tanto pur di non avere mai più a che fare con una struttura di questo genere. Sebbene sulla mappa sembri vicina all’uscita dell’aeroporto, la struttura si trova a circa mezz’ora di cammino molto veloce, di notte, lungo una strada trafficata. La stanza è talmente piccola che ci stanno praticamente solo il letto e l’armadio. Non c’è spazio sufficiente per muoversi normalmente: bisogna letteralmente scavalcare gli oggetti. Un’esperienza agghiacciante. Davvero agghiacciant

The biggest advantage was the bus station right next to the hotel.

It was a great one‑night stay, only about a 25‑minute walk from the airport, and the room and bathroom were clean and quiet; the manager was friendly.

Nothing at all, except that it is close to the airport. The accommodation is not worth the 58 eur; it was messy, dirty, the shower cabin had a torn curtain, the toilet was full of limescale, there were chalky streaks on the tiles, and the bedding was questionable. The air conditioning made a loud compressor noise every 5 min all night, the TV didn’t work, there was no Wi‑Fi even though the listing claimed it, and overall for that price it was utterly unacceptable.
