Breakfast was plentiful, service attentive; the setting was quiet and surrounded by nature, far from any bustle. The hosts were very attentive, always present and extremely courteous, friendly. Before bed there was a small chat by the fireplace with the hosts and other guests. The architecture and style were unique—a feast for the senses. The house’s history and family story were ever-present and very influential. Everything was as good as it could be; we missed nothing, just something else.

“Traumhaftes Schlosshotel in absolut ruhiger Lage”

An extraordinary and beautiful hotel that impresses not only with its historic building but also with the incredibly kind hosts and personal atmosphere. From the first second you feel in another world. Despite the dreamy architecture and high‑quality interior, it doesn’t feel like an elite luxury hotel; everything is simply normal and relaxed. We were there in mid‑September and were almost the only guests. Breakfast is superb, and the Bistro‑named restaurant offers a few very tasty dishes, which is good because there’s no other dining nearby. The castle is surrounded by a lovely, quiet park with a small pond. Parking is ample, and there are two charging spots for e‑cars (€25 per charge, very fair if you fully charge). The only downside—something the host can’t fix—is the rather remote location and the fact that you can only get there by car.

The place is beautifully situated beside a small castle pond and a well‑maintained park. The calmness and the sense of being at home were truly admirable. Of course, staying in such a wonderful house and being greeted by a very courteous host was great. Even though we had little time on site this time due to other priorities, we will definitely come back to enjoy the house and its surroundings more directly.
