Nice place overall. Breakfast offers a good mix of western and local dishes, and there’s a washing facility. The staff are helpful. You can order mail in advance, as there are storage boxes in the lobby. However, the toilets are very strange—they get stuck all the time and you can’t use toilet paper, which is extremely odd. For non‑locals, the location is a bit hard to find because there are two hotels with similar names nearby; just be aware on arrival.

The service from the staff was very good—the reception speaks English or actively uses a translator, they were fine with cash payment, friendly and ready to answer questions. They helped us with a lost Taobao package the night before check‑out, and an employee went to another hotel with us! The room was clean and cleaned on time. The single dryer in a six‑floor hotel is quite uncomfortable; you have to stay awake until 1 a.m. to wash clothes. The view from the window was of a neighboring building, which is sad but not critical.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I had already been charged in advance (I have bank statements to prove it). At check‑in, the front desk staff confidently told me that Booking wouldn’t charge me and that the platform would issue a refund, so they demanded I pay again at the hotel. Because of their false and unprofessional claim, I ended up being charged twice. When I later contacted them via WeChat to resolve this, they initially said they would look into it, but eventually just told me to “contact the platform yourself.” They refused to take responsibility for their own staff’s mistake. It is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel that operates on international platforms to not understand how the payment process works, and then push the communication cost onto the customer. Please be very careful if you book here.

This is an old hotel with no water dispenser and outdated equipment. It is about 1 km from the subway station (Sanyuanqiao), which is very inconvenient. The overall hygiene of the hotel is poor, and at a price close to 800 CNY it is not worth it at all. The value for money is extremely low, and I would not recommend it. For the same price range, you could choose a Yaduo hotel, which is closer to the subway and offers a wider variety of breakfast options, giving a higher value for money.
