The hotel’s view and surroundings are gorgeous, and the room’s direct sea view is beautiful; the room is simple yet perfectly suitable and even has a balcony. The on‑site restaurant is excellent and convenient, so you don’t have to return to the livelier center at night. Sure, there are many stairs between the road and the rooms/restaurant, but that’s entirely manageable. The location is in a very quiet corner of the island, which is nice, but without a scooter it feels very isolated. A taxi is available on site for 300 bath per trip. With a scooter it’s ideal, but you need to be comfortable riding because the road to the hotel (in good condition) is steep with tight turns. Cleaning isn’t flawless—there were hair on the floor in the room, though nothing too serious.
