The location is nice and the room is clean; however the room was very small and we woke up at night from the noise—there were small irritating items, the door didn’t fit the door frame, and we had to pry it open to close it.

The room is good, the location is great, and the price is fair; it lacked a glass or cup for tea or coffee, and the lights were off so the room was cold.

Access is easy, the place is clean, the shower is good, but there’s a smell in the hallway.

I liked the low price and how easy it was to get there, but the bed felt worn and a strong odor lingered in the corridor.

I spent another three days in Akureyri at BG4 Guest House, which was very comfortable and clean; I explored the city and took a day‑trip to Húsavík, 46 miles northeast, where I saw a well‑preserved polar bear that had come ashore on Grimsey in 1969 and a NASA monument honoring Apollo astronauts who trained in Iceland during the 1960s; the city’s cozy cafés and bars made the atmosphere enjoyable, and I’d love to return soon—thanks to everyone!
