The restaurant was wonderful with delicious food, a small but fine breakfast buffet that had everything you need in top quality. The room was small but well furnished, simple yet fully equipped with plenty of storage and surfaces – all essential. I even got a spare bath towel from the chef to cool off briefly in the lake (I was traveling only by road bike with little luggage). The duvet was far too heavy for this season; I could only open one side of the window (probably for safety on the 3rd floor), so the room was already warm, and then the heavy blanket made it even hotter. The climate control wouldn’t start, so everything fell apart.

The location was superb, we swam in the lake and took a boat trip; it was also great that the hotel gave us four e‑bikes, so we could enjoy a relaxed ride around Baldeggersee. The service staff were very nice, and even though we were always the last to leave, everyone stayed cheerful.
