I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I normally don’t write reviews, but this had to be shared. The first thing I did after getting into the room was check if there were any other vacancies in town; unfortunately none were available. The owner (I assume) walked over to my room before me, which made me pause as I asked if everything was alright. I first walked into the room and smelled mold in the bathroom. Unless the bathroom door was closed and the extractor fan was on, that was all I could smell and it gave me a headache. The shower (see pictures) made me go out and buy cleaning/disinfectant spray before I even thought about using it. There was dirt on the shower walls, probably from the last guest. In the room the baseboard heater looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. When I got into bed that night and pulled the duvet up, it smelled of someone else’s body odor. The sheets and towels were clean. Outside the rooms there was mud and dirt everywhere from workers’ boots (no offense to the workers), which would not take much to hose down or do a little yard maintenance if someone cared about the looks and their customers not bringing in loads of dirt with their shoes. There is no love being put into this place. I originally booked this earlier in the year and seemed to see a few more positive comments. I re‑looked at guest reviews and in September they all said similar to me. The place needs a visit by the health authorities.
