I arrived expecting a separate guest house, only to find a basement suite tucked behind the front door of a lived‑in townhouse. The occupants are quiet and nice, and the space is tidy, but there’s no private entrance, no lock on the bedroom door and the kitchen smells drift up from the level above, so privacy is limited. The pictures are misleading – the kitchen table shown is actually upstairs and even has a resident sitting there most of the day.

The mattress was surprisingly comfortable and the host was friendly, but the room felt cramped for the price you’re paying. There’s no separate entrance and the basement area isn’t cut off from the main floor, so you hear everything. Not really worth the cost.
