The service was minimal at every level, which is disappointing. There was no reception desk, and the privacy of the room felt lacking because the door had a single pane of glass even though a curtain was present. It felt like an old school boarding house, and I didn’t notice any shutters on the windows. Towels were damp, and the breakfast was rushed and limited to a café next door. In the off‑season it was truly the bare minimum.

It’s a short walk to town, bars, and restaurants. The hotel was empty at the end of the season, so the owner kindly offered breakfast at the café they run in town, which was a nice touch. The bed wasn’t very comfortable for me personally.

The location was great with good views, but nothing was open nearby to eat. Breakfast the next morning was very welcome. On arrival, the lady of the house seemed upset about something and was scolding the young man checking me in; it felt directed at me and was very awkward.
