“worth the money, but quite cold”

I stayed one night at this capsule hostel while heading to a concert in Prague, and overall it was a pretty good experience. The capsules were roomy and private – I could sit up without bumping my head, the bed was clean, comfy, and gave me a solid rest. The bathrooms and showers were tidy and well kept, and the spot was convenient, under 20 minutes from the main train station by tram, offering good value for what I paid. Still, there were a few downsides: the ventilation was loud and couldn’t be muted, it felt a bit chilly so a hoodie would help if you’re sensitive to cold, and the capsule doors were noisy when opening and closing, which could disturb other guests.

“Simple but good”

I liked most aspects – the place was comfy, clean, and had adjustable ventilation inside the cubicle. However, as a pair we found the single storage compartment insufficient, so I’d like them to add extra lockers for double cubicles; that’s why I deducted one point.

The mattresses are really in terrible condition, everyone complains about them.

The room was downright filthy – a stale smell hit you as soon as you opened the door, and the air felt constantly damp. The mattress was sagging in the middle, and the sheets were dirty and musty, making it hard to relax at all. I couldn’t find anything redeeming about the place.
