“Appalling”
First, there was no internet at the property, which we needed. We had to go out and buy SIM cards. (Unexpected expense) The next problem was some kind of attempted murder. Guests were woken to screaming, smashed glass, broken doors. The Police were present. Once able to leave their rooms, the guests were shocked to see blood and broken glass everywhere. Even in the shared toilets. The next problem was the previous owner of the building came and changed the locks. I think the Police called him to do so. This meant that no guests could enter, I waited in the street for 3 hours to gain access. The guests inside could not open the doors from inside, they were in effect locked in – so thank the lord there was no fire, or no one had to get a plane that day… Eventually, one of the guests inside found a back door, and the guests all had to take turns at going in and out, whilst one watched the door. I have used this property 2 or 3 times before and there has not been a problem. I believe it is now under new ownership/management. I contacted many many times, their response was appalling. No apology, no refund, just fobbed off and told that 'a door got broken, nothing else happened'. I have videos of everything but they clearly did not look at them.
