The views were beautiful, everything was spotless, and it was lovely to enjoy our own private pool. The kitchenette had everything needed for a quick meal, and the bathroom was lovely with a large shower. No complaints at all.

A cozy little place with a stunning ocean view, but the kitchenette feels a bit cramped and you can hear traffic from the main road.

The pool and view was gorgeous. The hotel was very very hard to find. It is inside a gated community up a steep hill. You then turn behind a concrete wall down a narrow dirt path with limited parking. There is no staff and our key was left in the door. The room had poop on the toilet from a previous guest and when I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp they blamed the “wild life”. Aside from potty trained wild life the hotel lost power during a rain storm when the restaurants and hotels around them still had power. It was not fun running from the parking lot to our room in pitch darkness to find the power was out. The water in the shower did not get very warm and the shower head was extremely high so that made it even colder. We made the mistake of booking this with a toddler and the beds and rooms were just not toddler friendly. It’s a pretty “instagram” stay but not very central and not very well considered. I wish I knew there were no staff to speak to, no facilities, poor parking and the sorts. Again a very nice to look at stay but very inconvenient. We were in CR for 14 days and only stayed 2 nights. We preferred the other hotels, lodges and resorts elsewhere in CR

The villa was beautiful; we stayed in Villa 1 with a terrace overlooking the greenery, a pool, and two double beds (one of which was narrower and awkwardly positioned in a niche). The view of the sea and nature was lovely. Anyone wanting to see Aras should visit Playa Tarcoles, just a few kilometers away, or head to Restaurant Tiko for hummingbirds and a sea view. Unfortunately, the street noise from Route 34—trucks and motorcycles—is audible. The kitchen lacks a kettle, and a toaster would also be nice.
