We didn’t get the best room, but the reception and the stay were excellent, with a good breakfast and the option to dine with the dinner; the host and hostess were very pleasant. Our room was a bit less than the others.

The view from the estate among the vineyards was superb. Bruno and his family were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The homemade dinner with local products was excellent. The only drawback was that there was no air conditioning in the rooms.

The setting was beautiful and tranquil with amazing hosts. The home‑cooked dinners (optional) were hearty and plentiful, giving us a taste of authentic Portuguese home cooking. It was very hot during our stay, making sleeping a little difficult, but the lovely pool helped us cool off. We enjoyed nice wines straight from the Quinta and took advantage of a walk (usually with the resident dog Kiki) down to the tranquil Pinhão River.

The location was amazing, with gorgeous views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were all lovely and did everything possible for us. The facilities were clean and well designed. We stayed for dinner, which was lovely, and Bruno and his wife made us feel very welcome. Wine from the vineyard was served with dinner, which was truly special, and I thought it offered good value. The fridge was a bit small and not integrated into the kitchen, even though there were many cupboards with little in them; a jug for chilling water in the fridge would have been useful.
