The room felt surprisingly spacious and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. I also liked the fast‑acting washing machine – it got my clothes done in no time. Overall a solid, no‑frills place to stay.

The place was tidy and the bathroom was clean, which was nice. The downside is that it sits on the first floor with no lift, and it’s a good walk away from Baku’s centre, so getting around was a bit of a hassle.

The apartment came fully equipped with everything we needed, and the host, Abu Muslim, was incredibly helpful – he even drove us to the local office to finish our registration. His assistant, Mr. Mosa, took us to a butcher where we bought a live goat and slaughtered it ourselves for fresh halal meat. I’d definitely recommend this place.
