The spot is fantastic and the owner is genuinely welcoming. The only drawback was the mattress – it could have been firmer.

Loved the spot – just steps from shops and the historic centre, and it felt like staying at a family member’s house. Marinilton, the owner, went out of his way to make me comfortable. I did notice the bathroom trash wasn’t taken out, though I never asked for it.

Everything about this place was spot on – rooms, service, the whole vibe. Honestly, I can’t think of anything that wasn’t great; it’s the best spot in Rio de Contas.

The place is right in the middle of everything, which is a big plus. The downside? The street is loud, especially at night. Still, if you don't mind the noise, it's a solid spot.
