The hotel’s name suggests a 4‑star level, yet check‑in was quick but not very professional, the room felt old, smelled bad, had a broken wardrobe, mold in the shower, and there was no shampoo or soap in the amenities.

I was happy to find the hotel close to all the spots I wanted to visit, and there were no complaints.

staff are lovely and helpful. centre of town. big rooms. No hot water or water pressure. Needed binoculars to see the tiny tv from literally anywhere in the room. almost no plug sockets except the one by the desk. Pool area nothing like the pictures. hotel is on its last legs. FYI the hotel is dry. Not necasserilly a bad thing as i don't drink and it is Indonesia, but certainly worth noting for others wanting a beer
