The hotel was relaxed and the parking was right in front of the door. Walking to the town might be a stretch, though.

There was nothing positive to mention. The website claimed there was a restaurant where meals could be eaten, but there was none, so I couldn’t eat there. No convenience store nearby and the room offered no sea view—just a place to sleep. The thin walls let the alarm clock from the adjacent room ring through, so privacy was lacking.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the simple guesthouse room had a full bathroom, a microwave, a fridge, and Wi‑Fi. The owners were very kind and even gave me a ride to the ferry port in Kametsu when I checked out. The spot is close enough to town for food and supplies yet far enough out to enjoy the countryside, sugarcane fields, and easy beach access. A rental car would be handy, but the town is about a half‑hour walk away. I really liked this place and will return to Tokunoshima.

“車で行って良かった”

The location was quiet and away from crowds, and the facilities were relatively new and kept clean. Noise from the neighboring room—footsteps and other sounds—was somewhat audible.
