The staff in the restaurant were friendly, but the rest of the personnel were not at an adequate level, showing absolute misunderstanding and unfriendliness toward our situation. The rooms, cleaning, and communication with staff were lacking.

There were wine cellars everywhere around, but it was a bit of a drive to Znojmo. The staff were completely average, and I wondered why tips were expected for the sour faces during accommodation.

The bedroom smelled like bathroom waste, and a blanket fell on our heads when we tried to pull up the curtain. After reporting the bad odor to reception, no one came to address it, so we slept in the stench. In the morning, the waitress (the only one who cared) asked if our room had been changed. We had many items, and the receptionist who led us to the stairs didn’t even ask if we needed help with luggage. The food was not worth the money.

After the soup, there was an absurd wait for food in the restaurant; after 45 minutes, no one could explain what was happening, and this happened more than once. No information was given about which floor the room was on, and the awkward shuffling when getting to the bed was unpleasant. The attic rooms were unsatisfactory.
