The place sits in a great spot; you have to walk along a white dirt road, but with my car it was a stroll. The view is amazing from both sides. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The pool is that extra perk that makes you appreciate the stay even more. Obviously you’re in open countryside, so there are plenty of bugs—strongly recommend keeping a bug spray handy.

The place looked gorgeous in the countryside, but the communication left something to be desired; one of the rooms had a smaller bed than we’d ordered, and although they swapped us into an entirely different room at no extra cost, it was a hassle to sort out with the kids. We also requested breakfast, but it was forgotten, and while they offered to bring it to us, we didn’t have time and had to leave.
