The location is great for walking into the city, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, the noise from large rubbish trucks at night lasted for hours, and I woke up thinking the building was about to collapse, with rumbling, beeping, and flashing lights through the blinds.

The location in Galway’s heart was excellent. When we arrived, our room had a strange odor, so we asked for a change and the staff handled it quickly and politely. The rooms are very cosy.

The room was spacious and the location was great, but it was very noisy and on the ground floor on the street.

The location was good, but we stayed in a ground‑floor double that was extremely stuffy, hot, and had a strong damp smell in both the main room and bathroom. We couldn’t adjust the shower temperature; it stayed boiling and didn’t cool. The noise level was high, as expected for the area, and there were loud sounds from other guests early in the morning. The gate’s closing noise was constant, and a bin outside our window should not have been there because the collection is very early. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, very basic, and the main room lacked a mirror, with nails still in the wall. It served its purpose for our visit, but I won’t be returning.
