I stayed in a very comfortable, tastefully furnished vacation apartment with incredibly friendly hosts, surrounded by a great area that offers plenty of options; everything is reachable by bike, on foot, or public transport. The nearby huts boast good restaurants, and the Karwendel Nature Park and Mittenwald are especially lovely.
