“Relaxing, beautiful place to stay”
The place is beautiful, spotless, with a well‑maintained garden and many thoughtful touches. Everything is beautifully finished, linens are clean and luxurious, the veranda is great, and it’s very dog‑friendly. I appreciated the locked shed for bikes and other gear. The only downside is that it’s a good 30‑minute walk into Stonehaven on a narrow pavement, so a car is useful. The east coast mainline runs at the bottom of the garden, which some might dislike – it didn’t bother me but it blocked our sea view since we were in a lodge on lower ground than the rest, but I’m just nit‑picking.
