The Sunfold

We were greeted warmly by the owner, who made us feel right at home and fixed an Internet glitch in no time; he even handed us a salad bowl when we asked to cook our own meals. The studio and bathroom were spotless and had everything we needed. The spot was great, with beach chairs and toys for kids ready to use at the beach. The shared lounge was tastefully decorated and perfect for a quiet read. When the private parking spots were full, we found free street parking nearby with ease. All in all, it offered good value for what we wanted. The studio turned out smaller than the photos showed, but it was functional and we didn’t spend much time indoors anyway. There was a cooking hub but no oven, so we had to use the microwave; those little quirks weren’t worth complaining about. If you’re after a nice view from the window, this room isn’t for you, but that didn’t bother us.

The only thing that bothered me was the bathroom sink being in the bedroom.

“A nice hotel to stay in Weston-super-Mare on the seafront.”

The hotel was nice, with a room that had a small kitchenette and a great location. The downside was the noisy guests directly above us, who sounded like they were jumping off the beds at 11 pm.

“Great family stay with excellent location”

The location was brilliant, just a few minutes’ walk from the central area and the grand pier. The kitchenette was very small, with a tiny fridge and a single induction hob, so cooking and eating inside was limited to a simple breakfast.

“A pleasant place to say right on the front.”

From the start, we appreciated how friendly the hosts were. Our rooms were spacious with fantastic beachfront views, nicely decorated and fully equipped. Even though breakfast wasn’t offered, there was a nice bar with a games console for the kids. We will definitely return. The only downside is parking, which could be an issue.
