The décor was nice and the location was great for us to play golf, yet the breakfast room was cramped and poorly ventilated, and the smell of fried eggs was overwhelming.

The lodge’s styling and ambience were beautiful, with thoughtful touches and staff who attended to every need; it was very quiet and peaceful, nicely removed from the hustle of Hermanus—perfect! However, other guests parked carelessly in the tight carpark and used loudspeakers on their phones during the lovely breakfast; a few notices or reminders might help.
