“Nice location, nice terrace, but lots of stairs!”

The rooms were large. The terrace was big and lovely!. Traveling in Europe, you expect 1-2 flights of stairs. This apartment had the 1st steep flight of stairs to the front door, the 2nd to the bedrooms, the 3rd to the livingrm & kitchen, and the 4th to the terrace. Nowhere in the paperwork do yhey mention stairs, much less 4 flights! It is a nice place, but I definitely think they should tell you about the stairs involved!!

“Eigentlich schöne Wohnung - aber nicht zu empfehlen (Erhaltungszustand, Mängel)”

Good, but the loud harbor location in Rovinj with a view of the port. Late check‑out was possible. For over three days there was no hot water in one of the two bathrooms (we were four people). Even though we reported it quickly, the issue wasn’t fixed during our stay. The umbrella was broken the whole time, even after we reported it, so the terrace was practically unusable because it was too sunny. The apartment, though expensive, was very basic: a dishcloth for four people for four nights, cheap dishes, barely enough glasses, a dishwasher but no tabs, many broken items in the hallway, and it’s a pity how rundown this otherwise nice apartment is.

The spot is great, with a view of Rovinj’s harbor, and there’s plenty of room for four people—two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a combined living‑kitchen area. The downside is that the roof terrace becomes almost unusable in the peak summer heat.

“Sunny apartment just steps from the marina and restaurants.”

The terrace outside the apartment is fantastic. There were no issues at all, making for a truly enjoyable stay.

“Rovinj ist immer eine Reise wert..”

The view from the roof terrace is impressive. However, the overall experience felt fragmented and uncoordinated: registration began through a platform instead of in person as with other apartments; the response time before arrival was long, so we ended up arranging a transfer via another landlord; replies through the booking platform were delayed; before the apartment, a broken showcase cabinet with shattered glass was present throughout the stay; the sheets were not folded when we arrived—only sheets were provided, no duvet cover, which is odd in southern countries but I dislike touching an infrequently washed duvet; the toilet flush leaks water, causing the tap to run constantly and wasting a lot of water; the sink drain barely works, leaving the sink full while brushing teeth; the bedroom door wouldn’t close and stayed open; there was no key for the sliding door to the terrace, and access from neighboring apartments was easy; the second bedroom’s toilet flush takes a long time to reset. Otherwise, it could have been a nice apartment.
