The highlight of the apartment is the view and location; the balcony and outdoor space are great, and the living area with the TV is a bonus, plus all three rooms have air conditioning. The building was clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly, opening and closing the doors for us. However, from the moment we arrived the Wi‑Fi was down; they offered us the neighbor’s network, which was very slow and never reached the rooms. The fridge didn’t work, and after two days they brought us two mini‑fridges (we were nine people, so that was clearly insufficient); only the day before we left did they check the fridge again, still without fixing it. Bathroom lights flickered, and in one bathroom you couldn’t keep the light on; we reported it and it was never resolved. Only one bathroom had hot water; the other two showers were cold. The listing should clearly state that towels are not provided, though they do give a contact for towel rental. The living room lacked air conditioning, and the floor fan was inadequate. Kitchen supplies were too few for the number of guests (no microwave, no electric kettle, or at least a kettle). The outdoor jacuzzi couldn’t be used because the jets wouldn’t work and there was no way to change the water. They advertised two parking spots, but when one car entered, the other couldn’t exit.

“Great view, deck and location. Apartment need maintenance on the interior.”

The view, deck, and small pool were great, and the location was good. The owner was unresponsive, there were no towels, no Wi‑Fi, and they didn’t answer questions sent through the booking platform. The refrigerator didn’t work and there were a few other broken items in the house.

The spot is unbeatable – top‑notch view and killer location. The apartment itself feels a bit dated; the furniture and décor look like they’re stuck in a different era, and overall maintenance could use a touch. Still, the scenery more than makes up for it.

“Arraial do Cabo”

The place is spacious and in a great spot, and the front‑desk staff were genuinely friendly. Unfortunately, the building feels stuck in time – termites spotted, a broken dining chair, an AC unit dripping in one room, and a handful of other broken or missing items. The drying rack is barely there, no bath towels, and the cleaning left a sandy feel everywhere. For the price, you’d expect better upkeep and more amenities.

The apartment and its location were solid, but the sea in Arraial is shockingly cold – same as Cabo Frio. I’ve stayed in other parts of Brazil and will return, but not here because of the chilly water. Brazil should feel like warm sea to me, and if it’s not, I’ll stick with Argentina.
